Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, New Delhi is a centre for learning that promotes individual growth with emphasis on deeper understanding of creative expressions and mass media. SACAC follows a unique approach in teaching courses for arts and communication that is more focussed and yet integrated from regular mass communication courses.It conducts professional programmes in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Television & Film Production, Audio Recording and Creative Photography. It is aimed at equipping students to join the industry with confidence, innovative thinking and ample technical skills.
SACAC works as a national cultural center for the young aspiring artists and media professionals where they can participate in projects and exchange ideas. It regularly conducts film screenings, debates and short term courses in various disciplines of artistic expressions. It also organizes “Twilight” a festival of short films, “vimarsh” a forum for discussion on media and its social concerns and “Beyond the present” a national level seminar exploring the true purpose of Arts and Media. It collaborates with other academic institutions, academies and other bodies to undertake exhibitions, projects and related research activities.
