Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC) is a centre for creative learning in arts and communication. It seeks to inspire a new approach to communication and artistic expression amongst the aspiring and talented media professionals. It aspires to train media professionals with excellent skill sets and also ignite in them an inquisitive spirit for understanding the purpose of media and artistic expressions.

SACAC aims to be a pioneer in producing media and communication professionals who are knowledgeable and also have the ability to apply their knowledge and advanced technical skills for innovative creations in their chosen fields. The focus is to cultivate professionals whose work will move the human collective consciousness towards a more permanent and abiding perception of aesthetics, truth and beauty.

It is a centre for creative learning in which individual growth is furthered and accelerated by an understanding of the creative process itself. Guided by the belief that the future of mankind lies in spiritual awareness, or the blossoming of the human spirit in all endeavor, SACAC carves out a unique journey in creativity for its students. It directs its efforts in keeping with the philosophy of Integral Education as envisaged by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, that outward progress is the result of inner blossoming.

SACAC is a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry. Sri Aurobindo Society (SAS) conducts research in the fields of social thought, human values, cultural traditions, education, psychology, health, management, arts, economics to name a few. It tries to explore the deeper essence of human endeavor, in order to transform the collective life of humankind into an expression of a higher Truth and Consciousness.

Within the city, SACAC was established in 2002. Located in the heart of South Delhi, in the sprawling green campus of the Delhi Branch of Sri Aurobindo Society, it has earned name and recognition as a centre for learning and excellence.

SACAC inspires confidence in students by exposing them to new approaches in thinking coupled with ample technical skills. The institute conducts post graduate diploma programmes in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Television Production, Film Production and Creative Photography.

The curriculum is a blend of theory and workshops that are conducted by reputed academicians and leading professionals from the industry for effective internalization of key concepts. The focus is on engaging students in a manner which evolves the mind set and skill set of a student to match his/her professional and personal aspirations of becoming an artist or media content creator.

The curriculum lays equal emphasis on creative faculty development and management of self to handle stress and adapt to a global team environment. Ultimately, the students take their step into the industry of their choice from a sense of inner calling and purpose.
