The admission process for all Postgraduate Diploma and Diploma programmes is a simple 4-step procedure:

  • Submit duly filled Application Form with all the relevant documents.
  • Appear for Entrance Exam
  • Appear for Personal Interview.
  • Appear for Panel Interview.

Advertising & Public Relations

  • Write an autobiographical essay. Mention what you think and understand about the Advertising & Public Relations programme, how SACAC fits into your plans, and how you feel the Advertising & Public Relations programme will help you achieve your goals. Audio Engineering & Music Production

  2. What has been your biggest achievement so far and why do you consider it to be so? (word limit: 200)
  3. Why do you choose Audio Engineering & Music Production as a profession? What made you choose the course at SACAC? (word limit: 500)
  4. Select a song (Indian/Western, Film/Non Film) of your choice and try to identify the different instruments used in the recording. If possible, also try and explain the recording technique(s) used. (word limit: 500), (Note: For rare/uncommon tracks, please provide web link or details.)
Creative Documentary
    Essays (You may choose to write this section in English or Hindi)

  3. A film career is often self-made and structured very differently from many other careers. In this context, please write a statement of purpose giving strong reasons for choosing the field, and your reasons for joining SACAC. (word limit: 600)
  4. Send copies of any creative work that you might have done. These could be photographs, scripts, poetry, plays, lyrics, music and/or short film in print/CD/DVD/URL along with the form and essays.
  1. Personal Statement Write a personal statement of about 1000 words, which is mature and self-reflective. The statement should take into account your history; creative experiences, if any; influence and aspirations; and personal artistic dreams. In this statement also describe your reasons to pursue a Diploma in Photography and briefly list your Photography & Imaging skills.
  2. Creative Portfolio
    1. All applicants must submit a creative portfolio that consists of fifteen (15) images either as photographic prints of size 6”x8” OR Digital Submissions in CD or by email as jpegs of medium quality (900 x 650 pixels approx)
    2. Each image will be sequenced from 1-15 and will be named by a number followed by your name. For example, if your name is Ankit Sharma, title your images as 1_Ankit_Sharma; 2_Ankit_Sharma etc

  1. Crossed DD for Rs. 2000/- in favour of “Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication”, payable at New Delhi.
  2. Two photographs of size 3cm X 4cm.
  3. Self attested photocopy of mark sheets of graduation and other relevant academic certificates. Admit card/examination ticket, if you are appearing for your final graduation examination.
  4. Course specific essays, attach your CV with the form at the time of submission as stated under ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH COURSE.
  5. Portfolio/CD/DVD in safe folders/pouches, as specified under ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH COURSE.



  1. An application form once sold/issued in the name of a candidate cannot be returned and/or transferred.
  2. SACAC reserves the right to call applicants for interview.
  3. An application form should be complete in all respects.
  4. Rights to admission are reserved with SACAC.
  5. Fees, once paid, are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
  6. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
