Digital formats today have become the standard in the audio recording industry. India has kept in tune with the times by adapting to the latest technology the field has to provide. Today, we have a number of world-class audio production houses, project studios, live sound setups, etc in the country. Be it film, advertising or the music industry, the technical standard of the output we hear has considerably gone up. It is now easy to get into this complex industry as a career option than what was limited to a few professionals earlier.

Sound has more subtle association with our feelings than visuals. With easier access to technology, creating a professional audio recording of a high standard is more aesthetically challenging. Fundamental knowledge combined with practical application and a livewire interest in the field is what it takes to be a true audio professional. The curriculum of Audio Recording Course at SACAC attempts to pull all these ingredients together and impart them to the students through this in one year Audio Recording course.

Sound / Audio Recording CoursesAudio Recording course is designed to provide each student with adequate amount of time in theory, practical and project exposure. Experienced faculty will guide them through this intense one year Audio Recording course which further will qualify them to work in state-of-the-art professional audio recording and production setups. Intensive workshops by visiting audio professionals will guide the students to discover the finer elements of expertise in specific situations like live recording, mixing/mastering, acoustic design, sequencing/sampling etc. Live projects like concert recordings, music project dubbings, etc at the on-campus studio facility will give the ideal 'on the floor' edge needed to make a mark in this highly specialized profession. Regular music appreciation, musician interaction and active listening sessions will enhance aesthetics and will lead to the student’s holistic development. Projects done during the course will serve as a portfolio the students when they venture into the professional world of audio recording and technology.
