Fee Structure

 
The prospectus along with the admission application form can be obtained by paying Rs. 800/- by cash or DD of Rs 850 in favour of Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication, New Delhi by post.

Payments Structure

The payment of course fee has been broken into four installments for convenience during the course. The payment schedule is as follows for all the courses.

Fee Structure for PG Diploma in Applied Journalism and Media Communication

 
The admission application form can be downloaded from the website. Completed application forms should be submitted along with a draft of Rs 850 in favour of Nine Dot Nine Mediaworx Pvt. Ltd.

Payments Structure for PG Diploma in Applied Journalism and Media Communication

The payment of fees would be in three instalments:

 
At the time of admission 1st Installment 10%
1st July 2010 to 10th July 2010 2nd Installment 50%
1st Oct 2010 to 10th Oct 2010 3rd Installment 40%
 
Note for all Courses:
  • Fees once paid is non-refundable and non-transferable
  • As students handle expensive equipment both in the studio and outside, they need to pay an additional caution deposit of Rs. 10,000 that is fully refundable on successful completion of the course.
  • The study tour to Pudducherry is part of the curriculum, the participation is compulsory. Students have to pay an additional amount of Rs. 7,500/- by 15th September 2010 that covers basic transport, lodging and boarding expenses for this trip.
  • Being professional in nature, the courses require the students to visit and participate in seminars, film festivals, outdoor productions, field trips, etc. The students are expected bear the expenses of necessary transport, lodging and boarding.
  • Students who will have to sit for re-examination due to failing to secure mandatory marks in their first attendance or due to absence will have to pay “Re-examination Fee”. The fee will vary in terms of the course and subject. For more detail you have to contact the course coordinator of the respective departments.
  • The study tour to Pondicherry is part of the curriculum, and participation is compulsory. The cost of the trip is included in the fees only for the Applied Journalism and Media Communication course.
  • Applied Journalism and Media Communication course fee includes a Laptop.
 
Please be regular and punctual in paying fee installments. A fine of Rs. 50 per day will be imposed for late payments. Further, if the fee is not paid even after a month of the stipulated date, the student will be de–listed from the batch and barred from attending classes. Students failing to clear their dues will not be allowed to sit for the final examinations and participate in diploma projects. 
 

SACAC facilitates loan for students

SACAC has made arrangements with the City Union Bank in Delhi to facilitate educational loan to students who have been admitted to the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication for the academic year 2010 - 11. The educational loan will be on the prevailing rate of interest decided by the bank. The amount of loan provided to the student will be decided by the bank. The granting of loan will be subjected to criteria of the bank and the final decision will be theirs.
