Mr. M. S. Arumugam (Dept. of Film and TV Production )
Mr. M. S. Arumugam is a cinematographer as well as a lighting expert of repute with nearly 25 years of experience. He is an alumni of FTIT Chennai specializing in cinematography. He is a skilled technician and creative cinematographer with a wide range of experience, which includes feature films, TV serials, shows, documentaries, ad films, corporate and educational Films. His work has been honoured for creative excellence at "World Fest" Houston, Texas and Kino International Festival, Manchester.
 
  Mr. Nitin Rai (Dept. of Creative Photography )
Mr. Nitin Rai is a freelance photographer with 23 years of experience. Starting at an early age of 13 as an apprentice to celebrated photographer Raghu Rai, Mr. Nitin Rai worked as Photo Editor with leading magazines and news agencies. His work has been featured in international publications such as Time, Der Spiegel, Stern, Figaro, Facts, Tatler, The Sunday Telegraph and The Independent. Today, Mr. Rai specializes in diverse fields of Industrial and Corporate, Interiors, Fashion, Beauty, Portfolios and Portraits, Food, Photo Stories and Human Interest photography.
 
Mr. Promod Shanker (Dept. of Audio technology )
Mr. Pramod Shnaker has been a Music Producer for past 26 years working as Head Artistes & Repertoire - Music Today ; VP Artistes & Repertoire Times Music (a Times Of India group unit) ; COO Kosmic Music, a Chennai based music company and presently working as Senior Programme Director, World Space Satellite Radio looking after content creation for Urdu and Punjabi channels - Radio Falak and Tunak Punjabi. He has extensive knowledge and experience of recording technology and its application.
 
Mr. Ramesh Menon (Dept. of Journalism in English )
Mr. Ramesh Menon has been a media professional for the last 30 years. He is the recipient of the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism. He has worked with media houses such as Times of India, India Today, TV Today, BITV, Sahara TV, rediff.com and so on. He authored " Caste and Communal Time bomb" that deals with violence in Gujarat. He has directed and scripted numerous documentary films that have been shown at several festivals. He writes regularly for numerous publications and website and conducts workshops on soft skills and is a corporate trainer.
 
Ms. Sulina Menon (Dept. of Advertising and Public Relations )
Ms. Sulina Menon has been an advertising professional for the last 22 years with vast experience in Media Planning, Buying and Media Marketing. She has worked with some of the prominent agencies such as O & M, McCann, Contract, Zee TV and Carat India. Ms. Menon has worked with some well-known clients: Nestle, Kelvinator, Gillette, RCI, NIIT, SBCH, Hindustan Motors, Usha Fans and appliances, Atlas Cycles, Bacardi, Bharti Group, Philips India (Consumer electronics and Lighting), Hero Honda, Honda Automobiles, Dabur Foods, Dabur India Limited, adidas India ,Cadbury India ,United Distillers, General mills, ICI Paints and Max New York Life to name a few. Currently, she works as a freelance consultant in media services.
 
Mr. Uday Chandra (Dept. of Journalism in Hindi )
Mr. Uday Chandra has nearly 20 years of experience in both print and television journalism. Currently Associate Executive Producer-Output with LIVE INDIA, Mr. Chandra has worked with Rashtriya Sahara. In the electronic media, he worked with Vinod Dua in the popular programme 'Parakh'. He was the Output Editor of NDTV for 13 years and was awarded the Best Output Editor for 2007 by Media Federation of India.
 
Mr. Shankhajeet De (Deputy Director, Academics)
Mr. Shankhajeet De is an independent Film maker and freelance script writer. Starting his career with the cultural programme in TV "Surabhi", he has worked in several other cultural, travel and food shows. He also has directed and scripted documentation projects for agencies of the United Nations and Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, IGNCA. He takes keen interest in interpreting the ideals of Integral Education in media education and also teaches script writing and production in the Film & TV Production Department. He is also the programmer for Twilight, a festival of Short films organised by SACAC.
 
Dr. Medha (Program Coordinator - Dept. Of Journalism in Hindi)
Dr. Medha is a social activist, academician and development journalist and is also the Associate Editor, Saamyik Vaarta (alternate political journal). She has been associated with the media for 12 years. She designed and led a campaign of Participatory Communication in the rural-hilly terrain in Almora district of Uttarakhand. She has worked with Dainik Hindustan and freelanced for media agencies. She did her MA, MPhil and PhD from JNU. She has been a recipient of the prestigious Rati Aggarwal scholarship at IIMC.
