Road To Redemption
This essay is an insight into my own life vis-à-vis the outside world. Through this ongoing body of work I am trying to contextualize the notion of migration as a phenomenon that is both a reality and a figment of one’s imagination. As someone who moved to Delhi from the North Eastern part of the country, I have always felt like an outsider in this city. And yet having spent many years here, I see this as home instead of my native land. And from this ambiguity arises a conflict that many in this city can associate with. Through these photographs I am attempting to represent that conflict.
