Abandoned Spaces

This project is about my exploration of abandoned factories. My interest upon urban ruins started in my childhood-there were a few abandoned buildings near my house and I was curious to get a glimpse of those spaces. My intent was to explore and experience how it feels to be in a space filled with memories and belongings to people who lived or worked there.
While photographing, I felt the absence of human life and everything was so still and calm, as though, time has stopped in the past and the world has moved on. However, they still exist amidst us in the new world, standing alone; decaying and waiting for a slow death. These structure once prideful and productive are now falling apart and will soon cease to exist. The clamor of these spaces has been replaced by silence and what remains is a lingering whisper of the broken structure.
