About SACAC
Article
Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC), a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society is a multi-disciplinary mass communication and arts institute. Founded in 2003, SACAC was built with the desire to shape generations of media professionals who can think creatively, work consciously and communicate powerfully. We operate with the firm belief that an open, creative and responsible media has the power to shape a diverse, exciting and just world.
As a center for creative learning, we understand that each individual possesses a unique set of strengths and challenges. Therefore, our curriculum is a scrupulously designed mix of theory and practice to help each student sharpen their artistic expression, whilst imbibing an impeccable technical and conceptual skill set. It is our endeavor to make sure that each student begins their journey with excellence and integrity. Our belief in our vision has strengthened our students, who have paved successful careers in fields as diverse as advertising, public relations, photography, film making and sound design.
SACAC currently offers one-year to two-years postgraduate diploma courses in Advertising & Public Relations, Audio Engineering & Music Production, Creative Documentary and Professional Photography. Additionally, we offer part time courses that typically last between two to six months.
At SACAC, students are exposed to unlimited possibilities, through interaction with industry members and academicians. The mass communication and arts courses offered at SACAC encourage experiential learning off campus as much as on it.
We find that by creating a milieu of creative freedom, positivity and support, our students step fearlessly into the professional media world with the hunger to excel, the proficiency to achieve and a deep sense of inner purpose.
