Shri Vijay, or Vijaybhai

Shri Vijay, or Vijaybhai as everyone addresses him, is the Chairperson of SACAC. Vijaybhai completed his education at the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education at Puducherry, following which he joined the Ashram.

Vijaybhai is the ‘Member Executive – Administration and Finance’ at the Sri Aurobindo Society, an international not-for-profit institution working throughout the world for individual perfection, social transformation and human unity based on a deeper spiritual foundation. He helps in the coordination of several projects of the Society including education, rural development, sustainable development and renewable energy, health, leadership and management youth, Indian culture, media, films and television.

Vijaybhai is constantly interacting with people from all over the world – students, teachers, educationists, executives, scientists, seekers and aspirants of truth. Sharing with them his insights on life based on the vision of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

Shri Pradeep Narang

Born into an industrial family, Shri Pradeep Narang went into business after having completed his master’s in economics from Lucknow University. He looked after his family’s sugar mills and ancillary industries for two decades. He was the President of Indian Sugar Mills Association in 1973 – 74. However, he felt drawn to the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother and went to Puducherry in 1982, giving up business thereafter. He is now the honorary Chairman of Sri Aurobindo Society.

Daljeet Wadhwa

Daljeet Wadhwa is the Founding Director of Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication (SACAC), New Delhi, which was established with the aim of ifusing spiritual and human values into media and arts education. She has steered SACAC over the last ten years, to evolve as an innovative and creative media school.

Prior to setting up SACAC she co-founded the electronic media department at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan in New Delhi. Daljeet has a Masters in Accounts and Statistics from Commerce College, Indore. She is an ardent follower of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother from her formative years. Her quest has been to embody Sri Aurobindo’s dictum “All Life is Yoga”.
