Music Talks – Rali Margalit and Shivangini Yeashu Yuvraj at SACAC

Event overview

SACAC hosted the famous cellist and composer Rali Margalit along with vocalist Shivangini Yeashu Yuvraj. Rali played the Chelhu – a one-of-a-kind ethnic Cello, while Shivangini added her beautiful voice and vibrant presence to the evening. The evening was marked by conversations with Rali Margalit on music, history, poetry and life. Rali elaborated on the ties between her biography as someone of Jewish origin brought up in the socialist Kibbutz in Israel, where music took part in forming the ideals of the new Israeli society and her own musical way. An insight into the cross-culture collaboration between Rali and Delhi based vocalist and teacher, Shivangini Yeashu Yuvraj, was an important part of the evening. SACAC was happy and proud to host the two esteemed musicians.
