Anand Krishnamoorthi

An undergrad in Visual Communication with a specialisation in TV, Photography, and design, Anand started off as a child actor in the early 90s. He worked as an assistant director to Balu Mahendra and then pursued a Diploma in Business and a Masters in Electronic Media with a specialisation in Editing and Sound. Anand shifted to the UK and finished film school with a focus on direction, producing, and sound. Before coming back to India, he worked with the BBC as a trainee. Now a full-time sound recordist, Anand’s filmography includes films by Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam.

Anand is a guest faculty at the SACAC Sound Engineering College and teaches Sound for Film.
