Krishnan Subramanian

Krishnan has an M.Sc in Music Engineering and Production from the University of South Wales and an M.A. in Soundtrack Production and Sound Design from Bournemouth University, and he pursued these after finishing his B.E. from Madras University. After working with the BBC in 2007, Krishnan joined AR Rahman at AM studios in Chennai and worked on over 50 projects. He was part of the mixing team that worked on the first Auro 11.1 mix in India, and also as the sound designer for Rahman’s directorial debut, ‘Le Musk’.

Krishnan is a part of the faculty team at the SACAC Sound Engineering College and teaches Sound Design for Film.
