Vijay founded OKListen in 2012, as a platform which could serve as a meaningful & legitimate way for independent musicians to monetise their music. They distributed music to all leading streaming services and also played a pivotal role in helping in curation and editorial to help discovery for over 4500 musicians. Right from early indie bands like The Local Train, Agam, Lagori, Bipul Chettri to new acts like When Chai Met Toast, Apurva Tamang etc., OKListen has and continues to be a brand that musicians trust all along their music career.

OKListen was recently acquired by AWAL in May 2023. AWAL (division of Sony Music Entertainment) is a global record company preferred by many of the world's most exciting independent musicians.
