Workshop with Ernesto Calderón
Ernesto Calderón , of the Ethno Ensemble Fame, in a workshop with students across courses in Audio Engineering and Music Production at Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication.
For the uninitiated, Ernesto is a chilean Music Teacher, conductor, composer and arranger of Ensamble Transatlántico de Folk Chileno, a multi cultural band with members from over 10 countries around the world.
He has participated as accordionist and composer in international Folk Music Camps such as Ethno Scotland (2010), HistEria Festival (2012), Rila Music Exchange (2013), Ethno Croatia (2014) Ethno Flanders (2014), and Ethno Germany (2014).
Since 2015 he has been working as artistic leader, in camps like TradInEtno (2015) Ethno Flanders (2015), Ethno India (2016) and ChilEtno (2015-2016). He will also be one of the main teachers in “EthnoFonik” 2016, a EU funded programme with the aim to train existing and potential future Artistic Leaders.
