Coming from a music background, I've always considered myself a "creative" person. I believe we all have that spark, and it manifests differently.
Simply put, my year at SACAC widened my creative horizons significantly.
Not only did I learn the ins and outs of marketing and advertising, learning learning the different ways to approach a "problem" and creatively solve it was especially gratifying and extremely relevant.
With the integration of film, photography and visual art theory, supported by a strong focus on the ethical and societal frameworks that we function in, this creative problem solving approach has enriched me beyond the realms of my profession too.
Whether I stay in the advertising industry or not, the learnings from SACAC will be going with me wherever I go.
