My Journey So Far?
I am a Literature graduate from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, and I joined SACAC's Advertising and PR Course to learn about advertising, particularly the creative side of advertising. The teaching methodology adopted by SACAC ? a no book approach, is a refreshing learning experience altogether. The college provides a holistic approach towards learning and has modules like Photography, Film Making, Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Creative Ideation integrated into it. The faculty for every module consists of professionals from the industry who share their valuable insights from real-life experiences. The faculty pushes each student to their best potential, grooming them to face the industry ahead. Each year the students get a live project to work on, which provides an excellent platform to apply the learnings from the course. The advertising course devotes ten months towards education and the last two months for an internship. They also assist you with good placements on campus.
Thanks to SACAC, I got placed into ADK Fortune Communications Pvt. Ltd. (a WPP Company). I have been with this advertising agency for almost three years now and have been working on brands like Prega News, Manforce, Honda, MRF, Extramarks, Greenlam, Xpert, and many more. Each day we have a new brief waiting for us, allowing us to think for new products and target audiences. With these brands, I got a chance to create TV advertisements for Sunny Leone (Manforce), Kareena Kapoor (Prega News), and the latest one being with Anushka Sharma (Prega News). Apart from these, I have also worked on various digital campaigns for these brands that range from thought-provoking campaigns to fun and real-life stories to scripting influencer bytes.
So, if you are interested in the field of either Advertising or Public Relations, SACAC is a great place to be in. The faculty with their exceptional credentials and the modules in the course will only enrich your knowledge.
