The admission process for all Diploma and PG Diploma programmes is as follows:

  • Submit duly filled Application Form with all the relevant documents and applicable fee
  • Appear for Entrance Exam and/or first round of interview
  • Appear for final interview

Personal Statement
Write a personal statement of about 1000 words, which is mature and self- reflective. The statement should take into account your history; creative experiences, if any; influence and aspirations; and personal artistic dreams. In this statement also describe your reasons to pursue a Diploma in Professional Photography and briefly list your photography & imaging skills.

Creative Portfolio
The creative portfolio is a contributing factor for admission to the Diploma in Photography Course. All applicants must submit a creative portfolio that consists of fifteen (15) photographic prints of size 6”x8”. For each photograph, the applicant will provide: (a) A caption (b) Explain the idea or inspiration for making the image (max 100 words per image).


  1. A non-refundable application registration fee of Rs. 2000/-. You can pay this amount by cheque or online.
  2. 1 recent passport size photograph
  3. Self attested photocopy of mark sheets for 10th, 12th and graduation. Admit Card / Examination Ticket, if you are appearing for your final year graduation examination
  4. Updated copy of your resume that should include academic qualifications, work experience (if any), languages known, softwares and extra curricular activities
  5. Course specific write-ups, as specified in ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH COURSE
  6. Portfolio/CD/DVD in safe folders/pouches, as specified in ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH COURSE
  1. An application form once sold / issued in the name of candidate cannot be returned and/ or transferred
  2. The application form should be complete in all respects.
  3. SACAC reserves the right to call applicants for interview
  4. Fees, once paid, are non- refundable and non- transferrable.
  5. Rights to admission are reserved with SACAC
  6. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Delhi Courts

  • Students need to pay an additional refundable security deposit of Rs. 15,000/- for Audio Engineering & Music Production and Rs. 10,000/- for other courses.
  • In case an amount is deducted from this deposit due to property or equipment damage, the student will be required to reimburse the amount and maintain a Rs. 15000/- deposit for Audio Engineering & Music Production course and Rs. 10,000/- for other courses till the time they graduate.

Terms & Conditions
Fees, once paid, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
A fine of Rs. 50/- per day will be charged for the first 30 days, post which the student may be barred from attending classes.
Students who will have to appear for re-examination due to failure to secure mandatory marks, will have to pay Rs. 1000/- as re-examination fee for each paper they have to re-write.
Students failing to clear their dues will not be allowed to appear for the final examinations and participate in diploma projects.
Advertising & Public Relation (IMC) students need to have a laptop.
Audio Engineering & Music Production students need to have a  laptop, pair of professional headphones and HDD of 1 TB (minimum).
Photography students need to have a DSLR Camera, flash and other accessories,  HDD of 1 TB (minimum).
The courses require the students to go on study tours, film festivals, exhibitions, etc. The students are expected to bear the expenses of necessary transport, lodging and boarding.
