SACAC hosted a compelling public talk at Harmony House with Rahaab Allana, Curator/Publisher at the Alkazi Foundation for the Arts. He introduced Unframed: Discovering Image Practices in South Asia, a publication co-published with HarperCollins India in 2023. The volume brings together essays and interviews that explore contemporary photography and lens-based practices across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Nepal. Through the discussion, Allana highlighted the region’s interconnected artistic, historical, and cultural trajectories. The event was warmly received by students, faculty, and photography enthusiasts, offering rich insights into evolving image practices in South Asia.
