The Twilight Film Club at SACAC hosted a screening of the award-winning short feature Taak (40 mins) by filmmaker Udit Khurana, curated by Shankhajeet De, on 25 July at Harmony House. The session, moderated by Dr. Priyadarshini Bhattacharyya, brought students, faculty, and film enthusiasts together for dialogue on cinema and culture. Taak follows Shalini, a former wrestler turned nightclub bouncer, navigating invasive surveillance and mistrust after a fatal lapse at work. The screening reflected the club’s mission to celebrate bold voices, foster critical discussions, and strengthen SACAC’s vibrant culture of film appreciation.
