Diwas Raja Khatri

Diwas Raja Khatri is a Nepal-based cultural worker, curator, archivist, and researcher whose practice brings together photographic and visual research with socially engaged art. His work combines archival inquiry with collaborative, community-centered methodologies, focusing on labor, gender, queerness, social justice, and the politics of the commons in South Asia.
As Head of Research & Archives at the Nepal Picture Library, a digital photographic archive run by photo.circle, Khatri has led curatorial and archival projects positioning research as a vital, public-facing practice embedded in community life. His key projects include Dalit: A Quest for Dignity, The Public Life of Women, and The Skin of Chitwan.
Khatri is also a Guest Professor at Kathmandu University School of Arts. His work has been exhibited at venues including the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Istanbul Biennial, and the Museum of Modern Art.
