With over 30 years in media, Dr. Sabiha Farhat is an award-winning TV producer, documentary filmmaker, and academic. A Mass Communication postgrad from Jamia Millia Islamia, she has created 5,000+ hours of content across major networks like NDTV, Zee TV, DD National, and BiTV. Her acclaimed documentaries—Whistle Blowers (Rajat Kamal, 2007) and Patri Par Bachpan—explore grassroots India and have screened internationally. She has worked with organisations like UNDP, Action Aid, and various Indian ministries. A published author (Kiran: The Power of One, Penguin) and PhD scholar in “Female Gaze & Women Cinematographers in India,” she has taught at various universities. Sabiha blends real-world insight with academic depth, turning every class into a journey through the power of storytelling. For her, the thrill of crafting meaningful narratives never grows old.
