Mrinal Mathur is a full-time playwright whose writing journey took a transformative turn after completing the Creative Writing Course at SACAC in 2016. Since then, he has written several acclaimed plays including Akbar The Great, Nahin Rahe, Pashmina, and Didi I.A.S., which have been staged in over 100 shows across India and abroad. His work has received both critical acclaim and commercial success.

Mrinal’s collection of published plays, Natya Kumbh, reflects his unique voice and storytelling craft. With a professional background spanning advertising, corporate roles, and screenwriting, he brings a rich and varied perspective to the classroom. In addition to writing, Mrinal has acted in stage plays and featured in the web series A Suitable Boy.
