Pratishtha Chhetri is an independent documentary filmmaker and photographer whose work explores memory, identity, and gender, with a focus on amplifying women’s stories and lived experiences. Her films have been screened at festivals across India, including the Mumbai International Film Festival, Serendipity Arts Festival, Northeast India International Film Festival, and Chennai International Documentary and Short Film Festival, contributing to discourses on contemporary documentary practices in India. As a creative producer and writer, she has created work for Sony, Discovery, Google Arts & Culture, among others, blending creative storytelling with meaningful engagement. Her photography, often reflecting the nuances of everyday life and social landscapes, has been published internationally and nationally, including in The Times of India and Architectural Digest. She also collaborates with NGOs, using visual narratives to help amplify their missions.
