Sundeep Bali

Sundeep Bali is a lens-based artist and heritage professional from New Delhi, India. He has been observing, researching and imaging myriad manifestations of heritage in India especially the complex bio-cultural heritage raised by nomadic and itinerant communities in Rajasthan. While Bali’s approach has been that of a visual anthropologist, his work increasingly aligns with environmental humanities. Bali is a Fulbright Fellow in visual-arts(2004-5). He is also a global Ambassador for imaging brands- Fujifilm and ZEISS. He has exhibited widely in India and around the globe. Sundeep also serves as a core-faculty for Photography at Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Creativity(SACAC, Delhi) Patrons include Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation(SDC), Public Arts Trust of India(PATI), Foundation for Ecological Security(FES), Goethe-Institut (New Delhi), Centre for Pastoralism(CFP), Center for Social Ecology(Censeindia) and Kathika Trust.
