Tanima Kohli

Tanima Kohli is an award-winning creative and advertising professional with over eight years of experience shaping ideas for brands such as Google, Meta, Tanishq, Coca-Cola, Forest Essentials, Urban Company and Royal Challenge. An alumna of Lady Shri Ram College for Women and SACAC, her practice is grounded in the conviction that the most enduring narratives are born not of clever messaging, but of a rigorous understanding of people, culture, and the textures of everyday India.

Her work treats advertising as an instrument of social change, drawing on lived experience to craft ideas that resonate at a national scale. This approach has been recognised by the United Nations Population Fund through the Laadli Award for progressive representation of women, the Nargis Wadia Award by Kyoorius x Indian Creative Women, and a Cannes Lions shortlist for RimZim Jeera.

At Talented, she builds culturally-rooted brand platforms that reconcile commercial ambition with social relevance, proving that good ideas can move both markets and public discourse. As Visiting Faculty, Tanima brings a hands-on, industry-first lens to the classroom, anchoring her teaching in strategic thinking, sharp creative judgement, and the belief that the most powerful ideas are rarely invented. They are patiently observed.
