Vishal Sagar is an award-winning copywriter, creative director, and filmmaker with over 16 years in the advertising industry. Currently Creative Lead – Brand & Social at Pocket FM, he has previously led campaigns at Dentsu Webchutney for major brands like Airtel, Samsung, Byju’s, and Under Armour.
An alumnus of SACAC, Vishal now returns as a mentor, helping students sharpen their creative voice and strategic thinking. His work has earned top honors at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, and Spikes Asia, and he was named among the world’s top 400 advertising professionals in 2012–13. Vishal also directed India’s second-longest ad film, showcasing his flair for visual storytelling. With deep experience across digital and traditional media, he brings industry insight, creative passion, and a love for bold ideas into the classroom.
