Special Mentions at Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, in Japan 2015

SACAC alumnus Humaira Bilkis got a special mention for her “Maine Dilli Nahi Dekha” at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, in Japan in 2015.

The film displays the journey of a filmmaker in finding her soul in the people of a city rather than its architecture, museums, or mausoleums. An introspective approach to the film offered her to relook at her own space, identity, and cultural moorings rather than toddling around in the urban space.
