Like most people, I had dabbled in creative writing all my life, but it was when I joined the creative writing course at SACAC that it turned from a hobby to a profession. It didn’t happen overnight. It took me three years after the course to start earning a living from writing, but the course set me on the right path. Taught by Menon Sir, the course turned my abstract dream into practical steps and real skills. I have since published Pornistan, worked as a content writer in Australia, and now perform as a stand-up comedian while writing part-time for various platforms.
