Komal Kakkar is a communications professional who believes that storytelling when done right can shape how people see a brand, trust it, and connect with it. She currently heads Corporate Communications at HP, where she helps steer the company’s voice, build its image, and manage its reputation in a constantly evolving media landscape.

Over the years, Komal has worked across both the agency and corporate sides of the industry. Her journey includes leading communications at Samsung Electronics and spending seven enriching years at Apollo Munich Health Insurance, where she handled everything from PR campaigns and media relations to internal communication and digital content. For her, every press release, every campaign, was about more than coverage; it was about telling the brand’s story with honesty and intent.

She began her career at IPAN Hill & Knowlton, working with BFSI clients like Max Life Insurance and Citigroup, where she learned the art of building trust through consistent, strategic communication. Komal brings not just experience, but empathy and clarity to her work. Whether it’s shaping a press narrative or supporting internal teams, she always leads with purpose and a strong cup of chai by her side.
