I began writing as a child, but life paused my creative journey until small publications reignited it. In 2017, after personal loss, I joined the Creative Writing Course at SACAC, guided by Ramesh Menon. His mentorship transformed my approach, urging us to explore raw emotion, uncomfortable truths, and unexpected endings. Writing became my sanctuary, helping me process grief and channel creativity. My Hindi novel Yashodhara—Princess, who loves the Buddha emerged from this growth. SACAC gave me tools to turn emotion into storytelling. I continue to write, currently working on two novels, ever grateful for the clarity and craft the course gave me.
