Nachiket Sharma
Nachiket Sharma (b.2002) is a photographer from India, currently based in Maryland, USA. His work usually tends to lean more towards the social documentary style.
He has been a 2x alumnus of the Ian Parry Scholarship, where his works, ‘The Mountain and The Maverick‘ and ‘Love, Hope, and Prayers,’ were awarded a Commendation. His photographs were selected for the UNESCO – Youth Lens on the Silk Roads Travelling Exhibition in 2019. His work was exhibited in the Netherlands as part of the Noorderlicht Photo Competition in 2021. Sharma’s photographs have been published in Emergence Magazine, The Reader’s Digest, and F-Stop Photographic magazine, and his work has been shortlisted twice in the BarTur Photo Awards. Nachiket has also worked for clients such as Savills Real Estate and Sotheby’s. He is an alumnus of the Sri Aurobindo Centre of Arts, New Delhi, where he completed a One Year Post Graduate Diploma course in Documentary Photography. Nachiket is currently pursuing a BFA Degree at the Maryland Institute College of Art in the USA.
