Designed as a practical, hands-on experience, this workshop introduces participants to the basics of creating engaging videos using their phones.

Students explore essential elements such as framing, movement, lighting, and sound, while also learning how these come together to build compelling stories. The workshop also includes an introduction to mobile editing guiding participants in transforming raw footage into a cohesive final video.

Through collaborative exercises and guided shoots, participants create their own 30–60 second video, which is screened and discussed as part of a group feedback session. This process not only builds technical skills but also strengthens creative confidence and storytelling ability. No prior experience is needed, and all necessary app recommendations and requirements will be shared in advance.

 

10. From Everyday Objects to Iconic Art: A Practical System for Turning Ordinary Surfaces into Powerful Visual Work
